Float Plan Template?

Does anybody have a word or excel template for a Float Plan. I found some great ones on the web but they were all PDF's. I'd like to have something that I could email to my primary contacts.

I also recall seeing a site several years ago where you filed the float plan online and if you did not check in by the appropriate time they would start calling your primary contacts, anybody use this?

You just need to change the vessel names and the emergency contacts to suit you/your area

Hey guys, first time on this site. Figured this would be a good a place as any to make a first post. I found this site for flaot plans. I have yet to use it but it looks good.

Hotspot - I realy like that one, especially the instructions on page 2 but I don't know how to convert a PDF file to a word or excel file. I'd like to be able have saved in a file all the boat information and only have to add the destination and crew for each trip.

I have the document converted to word. I have attached it.

Just save King's version with the .dot extension (Word Template) fill in the static data and save it. Then just open it up and fill in what is required and save it each time.

One year while fishing lake Erie by myself I left my info on my tow vehicle dashboard and who to contact.

Wearing a PFD is a must.

The only thing I did not like about that is "undesirables" would know how long they had to break into my van.
