I've been all over Europe, Middle East, and Far East with my AT&T Blackberry and it works excellent everywhere except Japan until now. I just got a new AT&T blackberry and it works worldwide including Japan now. I think you will like it.

supposed to be getting one in the next few weeks for work to replace the nextel that I currently carry. I can't decide if I am more excited about getting all of the cool features of the phone, or the fact that I will be getting rid of the nearly worthless nextel service. My company has actually had an app written that ties in with our mainframe and works real time from the iPhones, allowing us to send in orders from the field & look up various customer info without having to lug a laptop or call stuff in through another person.

I have been considering an iphone or ipod touch. I don't need another cell phone, but if the iphone's capabilities are much better, I would go that way.

The Ipod touch only uses WIFI. I actually have a touch that I am selling. It is about a month old. You can use skype with the ipod touch. You need a mic which I purchased separately.

Actually, no GPS in the Touch. It uses known locations of Wi-Fi signals to triangulate your position! Really. And no, I don't know how it works

I wish I would have known about you selling. I just bought an 8 gig today to replace an old Palm PDA.
