I need someone to talk me out of buying this boat...

New to the site, however, have been paying attention. I have some boating experience, but not much as an owner. My wife and kids have been asking for one and I am damn near sold as I would love to have one of my own. The only part that I struggle with is the cost which I am sure all of us have. I have been given every reason why to buy one, I am looking for someone to tell me why I should not. What dont I know.

I have bought 2 boats new, have not regretted it one bit. I am an auto and heavy truck mechanic so I do all of my maintenance and so far repairs. That helps with costs, I recently changed the bildge pump, I know why they charge so much to work on boats. "BOAT=Best Of All Times" If I was to buy another boat now I would probably look for a good used boat, can get more boat for the money. I am sorry I cannot talk you out of buying a boat.

I don't think that simply price of the boat is preventing you from becoming a proud owner of a boat. Yeah, it is true that price really matters but that can't be only constraints when there are options to buy used boats. There are many used boat for sale which are very well maintained. They are cheaper as compared to new boats.

So get a boat for your wife and kids and don't search for any more excuses. Go ahead!
