You know, with the advances in modern science, you would have thought that they would have developed a better way of prepping for a scope!

This 64 ounces of laxitive and nothing but jello for 24 hours - all seems a bit primitive!

Ha-Ha-Ha,,It suks dont it,,,I took the pills to clean me out the last time I did it.

Im due for another one this year,,,but I think they did away with the pills, Im not sure.

Five years ago I was scheduled for my 50 yr colonscopy. As the day got closer for the test, I was getting more and more anxious. I went to the pharmacy, picked up the gigantic bottle of PEG. Came home and started drinking.....and drinking....and you know ......and drinking some more.....I got to the point when I said to my wife, "I can't take any more of this and there's nothing left inside of me anyway!!"" She goes to look at the prescription to check on how much I'm supposed to drink, then looks at the time for when the procedure is scheduled........comes back to me and says "the procedure's not tomorrow, it's the next day!!!!"" WHAT!!! I'm not going through this again tomorrow night!!" I was so anxious about the procedure that I got the day mixed up and thought that it was a day earlier than it actually was. My wife quickly got on the phone, called the GI attending on call and was able to get the hospital to squeeze in my procedure the following day! I'll never forget that!!.
