Leaving a boat in the Abacos

I need a little advice, we are planning on leaving a boat in the bahamas (Elbow Cay) for an extended period of time at a house with a dock. What is the best way to protect the boat / motors from being stolen. It a 26 Scout with twin Yam 225's.

Put it on a lift, isolation or hidden master key, motor cylinder locks, GPs locator?

The caretaker will check on it periodically but I thought it could use an added level of security.

I know if anyone wants something they can take it but I'm trying to minimize the risk.

Suggestions?

If you remove the ignition modules, your boat will not move under its own power. To improve their eye-sight, cut a 20/50/100 dollar bill in half. Give one half to the yard attendant and let them know they get the other piece when you return - as long as your boat is ok.

My 2cents.

Good luck!
