After doing a little shopping I ruled out everything that doesn't have a safty. Asking whether the gun will fire if dropped is a question of mine as I looked. I can't imagine concidering a gun without one unless carrying is part of your livelyhood. Obviously there was something wrong before this incident but a example for the reason for my concern came to fast for me. A trigger lock sounds like a great idea here in Ma. Not sure why people are against it?

That .50cal is a monster! I have held one, and was offered to shoot it but didn't.

Here is what I want to get for the hip. The ruger LCR in a .38cal This is one sweet little gun! I have shot this one.

Here in Mass I would think just about everyone would have a hard job of concealing that .50 cal.

I just picked up a 22 from one of our board members and I think that could be tough to hide. Its a fun gun to shoot but I probably will need something else just in case :504_shrugging::504_shrugging::504_shrugging: I thought I would carry :504_shrugging::504_shrugging::504_shrugging: .
