Some buddies and I are planning to attend the Miami Boat Show, and we are in need of advice on where to stay, what to avoid, ect.

If you go mainly for the Show and not the nightlife it's best (cheaper) to stay by the Marina Docks the shuttle over to the CC for the Show.

this miami boat show is one of the events to watch. this Oct due to an immediate travel me and Tony, my loving husband, couldn't make it. but the forth commencing http://www.miamiboatshow.com/ from February 17 - 21, 2011, we do not want to miss again.

Tickets are available for purchase online starting December 17, 2010. Tickets are also available for purchase on site at all three locations during show days at the Miami Beach Convention Center, the Sea Isle Marina & Yachting Center, and Strictly Sail Miami at Miamiarina at Bayside.

The rates actually offered on the Boat Show website are actually pretty decent. Not sure the "quality" of the room you get but the prices are in line.
