Just learned tonight that a friend of mine has neck cancer.

Guys, if you chew, really really think about stopping.

Sorry to hear about your friend.

Chew, smoke, dip, whatever........the addiction is a bitch.

A former co-worker was talked into going to a hypnotist to stop smoking by his wife. He went just to satisfy her.

He had the attitude it would not work, completely negative,.......... he hasn't smoked since.

He said he doesn't know how it happened, he just no longer wants to smoke.

Studies have shown quitting "Cold turkey" has been the most successful long term.

You gotta wake up one morning and say, " F-it, I quit !"

Just to bring this into cold perspective. They told one son yesterday.

Tomorrow they are driving to the town where their second son is at college (redacted), taking him to lunch, to tell him.

I hope none of us are ever in that position, ever.
