Saltwater Fishing License

OK, maybe I am slow but I am confused. I hear all this talk about now having to get a license to fish in the bay and ocean in New jersey. I read the "official" site and to me it looks like I do not actually have to get a license.

I am not commercial, I actually really don't catch many fish as it is unfortunatly, but if I gotta have a license well then so be it. I normally don't really target any species. I just go out and see what's biting and have a little fun. I rarely keep what I catch either.

So, in simple terms, what's the real scoop?

Went on and signed up today. Printed my temp until the real one arrives.

So now does everyone on board my boat need one?
