Crossing to Walkers and Treasure

I was planing a trip in May to cross to Walkers Cay, around the 17th-21st and returning the 29th-31st

Leaving from Ft Pierce on the best weather day of that week. From there ill be heading to Treasure.

Is anyone interested in crossing at the same time. I would feel safer with another boat.

The last I know, Walkers is shut down from hurricane damage, with no plans of re-opening. You might know this, and it might not matter, but don't plan on fuel or facilities there. Too bad, I used to really like Walkers. The next closest facility is on Grand Cay.

I am thinking of go somewhere in that time, not sure when. I was not going to go all the way up to walkers though.

One of the biggest problems anyone has really had with a buddy boat is to find out what each others cruising speed will be. I will let you know as soon as I find out about my wonderful crew.

Yeah It is sad about Walkers, I had been going there since I was a little kid.

I was planning on Clearing at walkers and going to Grand to Fuel and Possibly Spend the night. Depending on what time we get there.

I can cruise about 35mph on a nice day.

My plan is to Go to Grand then Go out the Backside and run down to Treasure Cay, If its rough then run on the inside.

I will be staying at Treasure, I have a Condo there, Family and Friends are going to be there from Friday the 21st to the 29th or 30th

So the trip home will be somewhere around then.

Gotcha, just wanted to make sure you weren't planning of fuel there

I hear that Walker's is now for sale, a mere $26,000,000. Wish I had that kind of money, it was a fine place with some great fishing!!
