Fells Cove on a '62 Chris Craft with a '62 Johnson 75, quaffing while the sunsets...sound good?

On a classic like a '62 Chris, the occasion would call for more than beer. Might have to upgrade to malt liquor.

Nah, she was an old beater 26 Catalina (maybe) day cruiser with an enclosed helm, she was the mother ship for the Nautique. After skiing, we'd tie up the Nautique and putz around the cove. Usually just sit in the middle on the hook. Mid 80s. My "formative" years. My buddy who owned the Chris lived off Boggy Creek, just west of the airport. The Nautique was mine (2001 model) with a Ford 460.

We enjoyed many a Bud Light, Mich, whatever, on that beautiful piece of water...

Wonder what the old cove is like now. Hint: Don't ski near the reeds. Alligators are waiting...

I have been a Miller Lite guy since I was 17 years old. But I have recently moved to Land Shark. But when I am out at a decent resturant I go with Amstel light.
