I joined the forums in 2005 when I was in my third year of college. I was 6 hours from the water and it was miserable being away from the ocean most of the year. I would hop on hoping to help a few people with their issues and it helped me continue to feel connected with the boating industry even though I was far from the water. I like this site a lot better and I hope it really gets cranked up. The only reason I go over to the other site is out of habit, which I need to break.
