Hours on a Proline

Mike,

I believe when we were building the 19 Sport, the Merc power options included a 135, not a 125. The 135 is of course standard Mercury fare, nothing to do with anything "Classic" or Force.

Bob, I'm going to correct myself again.

In his year range, we did offer the 125.

90 both carb and four stroke

115 four stroke

125 carb

135 "Opti"

150 EFI and "Opti.

Later on discontinued the 125.

The power selection changed some over the years.

Man, I'm tellin ya, this is making my brain hurt.

Mike,

Regardless of what Merc was offering in that time frame, unfortunately, the OPs motor does not have a diagnostic port to pull data from. So engine hours are...?

Time to have several :1992_beer_cheer: :1992_beer_cheer: :1992_beer_cheer: and concentrate on tomorrow.

Bob,

Actually, early "2000"'S we did offer the 125.

It's in the PIG.

I, for sure, dont remember it though?????

I think that's me.

We recently welcomed a 2001 19 Proline Sport to our family. I went to look for the hours on the engine and there is no meter anywhere. It's got a 125 Mercury on it. Anyone have an idea of where I could find the hours? :504_shrugging:

If it's a carbed motor you will have no way to tell AFAIK. If EFI or 4S you might be able to pull the hours using a scan tool or laptop.
