Dog poop....

Recommended Posts

OK, moved up to a boat we can overnight in. Our JackRussel, Lucy really wants to go...so says my wife. So, when overnighting on your boat, with your pets, where do they poop? Anywhere, and just clean it up? In a Depends? Hold them over the side and have them go on command? (You'll have to teach me that one!)

So, if you go offshore with your dog, how do they go about doing their business?? Thanks, Rick

We used to put our Westie (about 10~15 lbs) out on the swim platform if we weren't anchored near a beach. He quickly got the idea. Except for one time when he pee'd on the platform and saw it streaming toward his feet, so he did the only logical thing (at least to his little peach-sized brain) and jumped overboard. :504_shrugging:

Fortunately he always wore his PFD (Puppy Flotation Device), and loved the water.
