Fishing advice

Meeting my brother inlaw and family for a week in Rodanth. I'm from Augusta, GA . Pulling up my 21-3 Mako CC w/ 225 Yamaha. Any advise on where to fish? what for? and what to watch our for. I've got all the stuff but lack experince. Any advise would be appreciated.

Has this trip already passed? George Poveromo had a good show last weekend filmed at New Bern, which is just a few miles from Oriental.

Or you can run offshore via Ocracoke Inlet, but that's about a 20 mile trip just to the inlet from Oriental, and the sound can get pretty snotty.

Should be some stripers and small tuna out there. I wouldn't take a chance with the bluefin,,I dont think you have 80's or 130's for those.

Check with the local tackle shops when you get there, or call ahead and find out whats going on.
