Michael Vick to play tonight

In what may be the most anticipated preseason game in Eagles history, quarterback Michael Vick will make his debut with the club Thursday against the Jaguars.

The Eagles have much to accomplish in what will basically be a dress rehearsal for the regular season, but Vick's first game action since Dec. 31, 2006, will be front and center. The Beast blog will depart for Philly this morning and we're prepared to cover everything that happens inside and outside Lincoln Financial Field.

I'm more intrested in the crowd reaction.

A woman (with a ticket) got turned away at the gate because she was wearing an anti-Vick t-shirt. She had to turn it inside out to enter. Aside from everything else....he's not a very good QB....really can't understand the signing. Kevin Kolb is the backup and was just named offensive player of the week.

He needs to be in jail or doing community service. To have this scum bag making millions of dollars again after drowning, choking and electrocuting dogs is just wrong. I refuse to watch any more NFL football.
