Repower----Thoughts?

I'm repowering a 1990 Smokercraft that has a 1990 40hp Yami 2 stroke. Weight of the yami is 155 lbs. The boat is rated for 80hp and in 1990, a Yami 80hp was 243 lbs.

I'm looking at a Yami F40 EFI, Honda BF 40 EFI (maybe BF50). weight of the Yami F40 is 214lbs. Weight of the Honda is about the same.

I troll alot with the boat which is why I want a 4 stroke. I also duck hunt out it. I'm not worried about being a speed demon. The only people (almost a person) on the boat is my dog.

Think I'm looking at too heavy a motor? by the numbers it should work.
