I've always liked universal type mounting brackets - my last garage was covered with them.

TriMed Technologies manufactures a V-Lock Universal Mounting System for your boat which can be used to hold many different items.

One suggestion I had for this product was to have some type of rubber or plastic insert (or cover) to place in the mount when it was empty.

Great concept but I wonder if you'll run into various issues with clothing, fishing line etc getting snagged?

This is a great concept for any who troll natural bait the chin weight will help you as far as the bait not spinning and help it to dive a bit from bunker,cigar minnow,ballys you name it it should work well I like the red color and the wide gap great offshore. Inshore it is used for reds as well as Specs with your favorite artificial plastic in windy conditions or just tough fishing get it down and you can and will see the results on a slower retrieve.Inland bass fisherman have been yousing this concept for some time with great results I like the idea of all molded in one less hassle for the fisherman there are many uses from deep drop to trolling on the surface
