I have been having an on going problem with one of my engines. When under an extra load, like hitting a wave or throttling hard to plane, The engine surges and temporarily drops power. I'm pretty sure it's due to the VST pump. I drained the tank and cleaned the filter and the engine ran perfect for about 20 hours and the problem resumed. What can or should I do to stop this or at least extend the period between VST cleanings. By the way, it's interesting that it has only been happening on my Starboard engine!?!
