REPO boats

I have a friend the asked me to ask you guys for some direction.

He had a very old CC open hull (sorry can't remember the brand), with a lot of good electronics and engines.

He is looking for a hull to move over all the good stuff he has on the old boat.

basically (due to family needs) he is looking for a walkarounds or CCs with Cuddy on the 30sh feet and he was wondering about REPOs.

He's looking for a modern 4-5 year old hull or not older than 2000. He is not too concerned about engines since he has a couple of 250s and electronics on VERY GOOD condition that he could swap.

Where could I send him on-line to look for REPOS????

Or maybe stolen/stripped boats from insurance companies??

I told him about marine liquidators, but he could not find what he wanted...

I have the name somewhere on my hom epc but I think if you google cooper liquidators or cooper salvage you will find these guys. All salvage, many physically undamaged boats that sank. Good selection if you are looking for a project boat.

You punch in salvage and then repo from ebay to other sites and try graigslist

yachtauctions.com is national liquidators website.

They have alot of inventory.

If you read Soundings, they are also a bunch of knuckleheads. They tried to repo the wrong boat twice.

OK Emanuel, check out this site. You have to have a dealer number to bid but I can arrange that. I am looking for wake board boats here as well. Anyway this will likely fill the needs for your Friend. Perhaps a bit big for twin 250s but it should run OK. i run twin 250 on My 34 Intrepid and cruise at 40. Anyway after seeing your Friends boat and the gear he has installed i believe this is a good match. Not a sinker, and stripped with tools. peruse the site for other boats in the future auction section. i think they only go to live auction once interest is shown. have fun, lots of boats here.
