Finding mouse drivers

Recommended Posts

Just finishing up after a thermal event problem with my computer that required a reload of WindowsXP and all the programs.

My wireless mouse can't find it's drivers, and the wired mouse can't find them from a USB port.

Using the adapter on the wired mouse to the round green mouse port works fine.

Hoping someone can give me a tip on how to solve the problem.

Thanks for any replies

With the new install, did you install service pack 2 and 3 as well? If so, did you install XP and then service pack 2 & 3 and then your additional software programs? Or did you install XP, additional software programs and then service pack 2 & 3? I am in firm belief it is much better to install the service packs right after the installation of the Windows XP.
