Tangled Lines

I started the halibut season, and with our tides, tangled lines are inevitable. One tip that really helps untangle the mess is to use different colored lines on the rods. I've got green, red, yellow, and white braided lines on my standup rods, and unweaving the rainbow is much easier than when the rods all wear the same colored line.

good idea. I baitfish for cod and haddock and sometimes have 4 rods or more running. I know exactly the problem you mention. braid can be a real bich'. Now, if I could only afford three or four spools of different colored braid.
