This is "Island Girl," formerly "Wet" on THT. I am now the Director of Marine Industry Sales for the Abaco Beach Resort at Boat Harbour. I am pleased to be your Florida-Bahamas Forum leader.

I grew up in South Florida and worked and traveled within the Hotel and Cruise industry for many years. An avid boater and fisherman, I will be working with Wiley to bring you all the latest information and "happenings" in the Florida and Bahamas travel and fishing world!

We'll be adding all the great fishing tournament info for Florida and the Bahamas and keep you posted about any new rules, regulations, visitor information, etc. that has to do with fishing these great waters.

My primary responsibility at the Resort is to bring marine industry group business to the Resort. So please call me if you or your Company is interested in an exciting Abaco Rendezvous.

I know you don't work in Bimini but I'm sure word travels through out the islands. Any word on the Big Game Club? I know they shut down last year and there were rumors that they were opening back up this March.

I was there this past January and i was told that something was in the wrks, but really dont know how credible the "RUMORS" are ...

Rumors right now. Owner still looking for investors, but the place I understand is still shut down.
