  1. Fellow Boaters, As insurance companies go, it can be difficult to get legitimate claims paid. Insurance companies are in the business of making money, and they will typically try to avoid making payment any way that they can. I'm writing to warn you that Seaworthy Insurance is the worst of the worst. They're endorsed by Geico and Boat US, but they are absolutely at another level. In my case, the police department has a video taped confession from the person who stole my motor. Seaworthy responds to my claim with one set of mis-truths and blatant lies, and once I spend hours reviewing the policy and disproving their claims --- they make up another set of nonsense. All done in the hopes that I'll get frustrated and give up. Feel free to PM me if you'd like supporting documents. I've involved the NJ Department of Banking & Insurance as well as the State Attorney General - but I'd hate to see a fellow boater wind up in my shoes. Avoid Seaworthy Insurance at all costs!
