  1. So very cool. You sure did the old girl justice. Do you plan to keep her in Nashville or are you heading elsewhere?
  2. That just plain sucks. He's spent a lot of time on my little island and Donnie is a great mutual friend who has had us together for many a Goombay. Yeah, this just stinks. RIP, Friend.
  3. I've known John for over a decade and he is a great guy, really personable and fairly knowledgable BUT, he has a show to fund. I don't know if this product is good bad or indifferent, but I do know that he does his due dilligence before taking the cash. Caveat emptor comes to mind.
  4. I recently had a friend down here tell me he's been using this product on his Jarrett Bay 48 and that the fuel economy has been quite impressive. I've been thinking about using it when I next haul out. Any thoughts? www.propspeed.com
  5. If it makes you happy, go for it. With any older boat though, be careful because often you are buying other people's problems. Good luck.
  6. I'm not a fan of any add-on cutting product. They all have their drawbacks and none work as advertised. Keep a 50 lb alum tank and regulator on-board. We've been doing this for years and are usually on our way in short order.
  7. Seems to me that prior to working for yourself, congrats on that BTW, you were screwed by each and every one of the companies to which you refer. Why defend them?
  8. I am not a fan of any of the boats involved in this bankruptcy but I don't quite get how inflamed you all seem to be. It's a company, they fail, they either re-emerge or disappear. Why the crazy emotions over companies with which, other than being a buyer of one of their products, you all never have any other interaction? Seems a bit over the top to me.
  9. Aluminum Magic Tilt tri-axle for my 34 Sea-Vee.
  10. That show, while quite exploitive of the intervenee, is fairly accurate in its depiction of sound intervention techniques. I'm not sure these should be aired, but we live in a world of voyeur tv and other media. Not good.
  11. What a beautiful project. I wish I had that kind of talent and time. I look forward to seeing more pictures of your progress.
  12. X4 for wave away. The stuff is very effective and protects well.
