  7. DETROIT -- General Motors Co. said on Friday that it is recalling more than 4,000 of its 2012 Chevrolet Sonic subcompact cars to check for missing brake pads. Like I sez, it be perfect fer the Lil Feller. I got ya, there's a lot to be said fer puttin' lil' feller in a Chebby Volt.... jus like him, pd. for wid taxpayer's money, easy to ignite and all around, pretty much worthless.
  8. Yeah, red shows up real good after smashed flat on I-95....look like a mangled Coke can. At least the VW will catch fire and burn up before he reaches the Interstate.... in a way, the VW could save his life.
  9. Dis is what I'm talkin' about, grinding just a small amout off the hinged piece that is directly over the ball. When the hinged piece is locked "down" and pinned, no way could trailer coupler ever come off. I could still use hitch as pintle hitch for my other trailer.
  10. Doesn't he need a step ladder to reach an ass? hahahahahahahahahahaha Trick Question.
  11. I tow boat wid a combo pintle/ball hitch. If I grind maybe 2/16's" off pintle latch, it would lock down over trailer hitch ball providing an absolute "lock". Any reason I shouldn't ?
  12. BAWH AHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA.
  13. Might check dis out.... Recall Notice Pasted Below >>> Report Date : October 6, 2011 at 07:48 AM NHTSA Campaign ID number : 11V490000 Vehicle Make / Model: Model Year(s): AUDI / A3 2010-2012 VOLKSWAGEN / GOLF 2010-2012 VOLKSWAGEN / JETTA 2009-2012 VOLKSWAGEN / JETTA SPORTWAGEN 2009-2012 Manufacturer: VOLKSWAGEN OF AMERICA, INC Mfr's Report Date: SEP 30, 2011 NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID Number: 11V490000 NHTSA Action Number: N/A Component: FUEL SYSTEM, DIESEL Potential Number of Units Affected: 168,275 Summary: VOLKSWAGEN IS RECALLING CERTAIN MODEL 2009-2012 JETTA AND JETTA SPORTWAGEN VEHICLES, MANUFACTURED FROM MAY 2008 THROUGH SEPTEMBER 2011, MODEL YEAR 2010-2012 VOLKSWAGEN GOLF VEHICLES, MANUFACTURED FROM MAY 2009 THROUGH SEPTEMBER 2011, AND MODEL YEAR 2010-2012 AUDI A3 VEHICLES, MANUFACTURED FROM SEPTEMBER 2009 THROUGH SEPTEMBER 2011, THAT ARE EQUIPPED WITH A 2.0L TDI COMMON RAIL DIESEL ENGINE/CLEAN DIESEL ENGINE. THE FUEL INJECTION PULSES COULD COINCIDE WITH THE NATURAL FREQUENCY OF THE INJECTOR LINE #2, IN SPECIFIC LOAD AND RPM CONDITIONS. THIS RESONANCE CREATES ADDITIONAL STRESS IN THE FUEL LINE. Consequence: DUE TO THE RESONANCE CONDITION, INJECTOR LINE NUMBER 2 COULD DEVELOP SMALL CRACKS WHICH COULD LEAD TO FUEL LEAKAGE. LEAKING FUEL IN THE PRESENCE OF AN IGNITION SOURCE, MAY LEAD TO A FIRE. Remedy: VOLKSWAGEN WILL INSTALL AN IMPROVED FUEL INJECTOR LINE FOR THE NUMBER 2 CYLINDER AND WILL INSTALL VIBRATION DAMPERS ON ALL OF THE INJECTOR LINES. VOLKSWAGEN AND AUDI WILL NOTIFY OWNERS TO HAVE THE VEHICLES REPAIRED FREE OF CHARGE. THE SAFETY RECALL IS EXPECTED TO BEGIN DURING NOVEMBER 2011. OWNERS MAY CONTACT VOLKSWAGEN AT 1-800-822-8987. 18. VW's known for repairs....wid de Honda Accord, forget about it. Admiral's '05 Accord wid about 50k on it has had $ 134 spent on one "sensor". Das it o/s brake pads and tires. Like you, she gets 34 mpg on Interstate. After 6 years, car looks and drives just like brand new.
  19. Better be mashing it on his own lil' feller self....... Miami Started by Joe Mc 44, Sep 13 2011 01:29 PM This topic is locked Go to first unread post 30 replies to this topic #1Joe Mc 44 Reel Active Member Registered 855 posts Gender:Male Location:CT Posted 13 September 2011 - 01:29 PM I haven't flown to Florida in recent years, I usually drive because I stay for an extended period but I took a quick trip down last week, rented a car at MIA and left for the Keys. When I drive I always bypass Miami on the way and after this trip I will continue to do so. Ill mannered inconsiderate folks, non-English speaking is commonplace and if they are speaking English you can't understand them, surly service personnel and the Third World style of driving all contribute to Miami, once a beautiful, vibrant city, now being a dump. Those @#$%^&* Haitian cab drivers have no regard for any traffic rules and police presence is sketchy at best and.....I guess you get the picture. It's really a shame, I remember going there in the mid 50's and early 60's and even up to 20 years ago. Quite a contrast now!
