I'm considering a Garmin 376C and getting the XM Weather Skywatch service. Anyone have experience with the unit or the service? I can't justify the fisherman service as I'm not on the water that much but thought the radar access is a great feature for thunderstorms/movement.

As for performance, you'll need to post engine info and Ken from Propgods will be able to tell you. Where along the boat are the ducers? Sounds like where they are mounted is coming out of the water or in turbulence.

Transom/Trim Issues from Trailering

I agree that it should not use that little metal flip down bracket. I just see the 2x4 as the same result from a trim tilt perspective. -
Has anyone ever had issues with transom or trim/tilt that they can attest were related to trailering? I've never had these transom savers/ect. and my family has been boating with trailered outboards for 30 years.
