  1. Wiley should send him a nice e-mail so we can find out what happened
  2. Some of us are intelligent enought to stick to the subject. I asked the original question to have discussions on what was going on in the bankrupcy . I did not ask for people to come in a jump on the only poster to the discussion with inside knowlege. from reading SB4'S post i see no where he is asking for sympathy or blaming anyone on what has happened in his professional life . He was just stating his qualifacations on the subject. What are yours ?
  3. good luck on the rebuild . how about update us on your rebuild and who did your work
  4. It depends on the size and style and then you need to decide new or used .With the amount you posted in your post you will need to buy used and it want be anything to big inless you up the money you want to invest.
  5. Just curious, but I looked at your thread on THT and didn't see any "hate mail". As others pointed out, ShipShape TV has become a glorified infomericial, not an unbiased DIY program. Do you really expect them to say anything negative about companies who purchase advertising on their show? They are like everyother fishing show they have to have sponsers. Today these sponsers want you to push there products more than just listing them before and after the show. they want the show host to show them off on the program. just the way it is right now. They still show alot of informative techniques and ideas on the show.
  6. agree it's a sad time he was a great guy.
  7. MBR the last Scout i was on did not have those problems any longer ...they must have changed since you worked there
  8. i think your right SeaBob ! maybe MBR can show pics of the custom swimming pools in the back of his custom Scout.
  9. I should have answered how many bikini covered girls are on them as a bayliner needs all the help they can get.
  10. i goofed on my math like David must have as i was thinking 17' . for a 14' boat the 40 should be fine but a little more info on the boat like beam, weight and other specs.
  11. Can't believe they left their shades
  12. no Bayliners lol but a good assortment . I own other boats besides my 2 cc's so i know just for me i like a little bit of everthing
  13. yes i do realize it's 17' boat. I would still like a "bit" more power if it were me. i assume he would have a 40 hp 4 stroke on the boat . most 40 hp four stroke i have owned and used are somewhat sluggish in their performance. Mine for instance feels like its a 25 or 30 hp engine when in fact it's a 40. also by "bit" i mean a little bit not like putting a 115 hp engine.
  14. Mist-Rest take some pics for us to see if you can
  15. that would be good. a smaller version could be built as a duck boat with a built in blind
  16. Let's try to keep to the subject and have an adult discussion about a subject that effects alot of people in the boating industry Thanks for your cooperation !
