not to derail ya Tim but C E Sheperd over in Houston was a very large supplier of wire up here. Not sure why they can't compete anymore but To my knowelge they are all but gone. I figured you might have a in on them big green lures!

Sounds like a great idea Tim! I think picking a number. Maybe 1 thru 100 or 1000 and whomever picks the right number first , gets their choice? You might have to restrict picking to one number a day or week etc depending on how many people participate. (you know,to prevent someone writing 1 thru 100 all in one day and not giving anyone else to have a chance)If nobody picks the number by Jan 31 , the number closest to the number wins..I guess a couple other details could be added such as a thread to post ones pick for proof of time stamp. I do have a question, Do you carry 22" x 15" x 36" green standard lobster lures?

I guess I'm still missing the big picture on this trolling issue. It seems to me as it did before. Without trolling there is no posting of replies. Maybe Wiley should make a bannor area. A place where you write something and you post it up like a bannor. It could wave in the breeze when people read the bannors. The difference would be there is no reply button. Because then... its not a bannor its trolling.

I already experimented in November. It appears none of us have anything in common but teasing one another. I started a TV thread here that had a couple of replies yet someone started one a few days later at the other site and it had many replies. i noticed it a few times. I also asked Wiley to create a private setting for us to go harras each other without disturbing the general normal population. His reply was he had something in thje works that he would start after the boat show. Well it appears he did some changes including making bikini island private entry. (no gutter for us gutter people) We also got removed threads and a request to stop that nonsence including compiments from veiwers for Wiley performing the act. So, next to nobody wants it, Wiley doesn't want it and the only thing that contradicts all of it is the amount of replies and hits on those posts. There were more hits and replies on maybe 6 threads in a couple months than all of the rest put together for I'll estamate twice those months. Yet you want them to start up again? lol, don't fix what isn't broken? Pretty novel idea Tim!

Wiley, I have never been a mod or a forum creator so I really only can imagine how much time is involved. THT has to be way beyond what anyone would want to do. If I ever get fed up on restrictions I might have to disscuss your suggestion with you and have you give me some pointers and , dos and don'ts. Thanks for the suggestion anyway even though it "most liely" will never happen. Mist, I heard of Wiley elsewhere but didn't know anything about him till I was directed to this site. He seems pretty fair to me. His rules are simple even though painted with a broad brush.

LJ, someone flipped the switch. They are all gone. far and few between so it might start inching up. The Gubment recognized the low pricing created by a foreign country. MIT is doing something to help how to get pricing back up???? LOL I think they hit a wall with this one...
