  1. what was wrong with the Egg? I've thought about getting one, but will probably use less money building my own custom smoker/grill but never know.
  2. found a feature that might be of interest to some. If you mouse over someones signature in the upper right of the sig box an X appears - you can ignore one persons sig or all persons sig.
  3. Minced onions get to me. Can be tough eating out at times as so many places use them in the food and you don't know it. I can't eat Olive Garden soups - they are loaded with them. Any yes; the toxicity level is 10 fold increased that's how I know I got minced onions. I can eat real onions all day long. Just the minced. Dunno why.
  4. hey popeye your overnight posts seem to have a common thread. You seem too have an issue with people posting on the forum that you do now know?
  5. well I did get spoiled having two engines on the big boat; nice knowing one (should) be able to get you back to where you started from. What is optimal speed? I've fished for them twice on two diff boats and each one had a preferred speed.
  6. yeah and are you still in the Nashville area?
  7. ok one last try. This is a striper aka rockfish:
  8. This is for several people so please no direct offense meant to any one individual - Why don't you all keep your personal distaste and comments for others in the Dramamine? If you truly care about helping this site grow you will keep that where it belongs (and it can be fun I'm not knocking it completely) and keep the top side about fishing and boating. You all do realize the many folks coming here from the BOE thread to newly check this out or old members (as I am) coming back to see all this gay ass drivel and personal agenda is a huge turn off. Again, only if you truly care about the success of the forum. I have no dog in this hunt other than I like to talk about boating and fishing with the occasional drunken trip to no man's land aka the Dramamine/The Bilge/Politically Correct/etc...
  9. yep. I keep him up to date on threads that pop up on a couple other forums. Things pick up here I'll do the same. Anyone that works with customers they way he does (and I've got two others in different boat areas) I make sure they have a heads up as I can assist with.
  10. he's got his own forum, tho he's not n their much either. a forum where you have to pay to give advice.... he just posted on tht the other day. Can't remember what thread. username with three E's
  11. Sears Ted Williams 12' Gamefisher. Oars for two years then a 15 Rude. "real' boat 1966 19' Mark Twain with a mercruiser inline 6 cyl.
  12. ok lets try something else. This is a troll plate:
  13. apparently there is a character limit. My 'one line' was displayed as one line when I typed it in but would not allow. Shortened and now it will allow.
  14. I'm on Chrome and my quote button is (and always has been) avail in each persons post.
  15. Glad you were all able to get together. Sad loss! Did you ever meet Ginger? They got married and about 30 days in they found the cancer (about a year after he had his heart cut open again to fix the last one) Had a tough year but several of us from FCB rotated in about once a month on average. When we came down this month for the party I mean memorial Ginger had the laundry room set up as a clothes store for a few of us to go 'shopping' I got the well worn THT sweatshirt. Wore it all weekend. Then the next. And the next. And probably this weekend too.... Planning to go down again in March. I'll drive (work most of the way) then fly the wife in for a weekend. Haven't met you but he spoke well of you. My first ever forum post, anywhere, was THT and I asked if I should buy a Sea Ray or a Bayliner. That was fun.....
