  1. You can still carry the expires flares as 'extras.' Just store them seperatly from the equipment you carry to satisfy the safety regs.

You are 100% correct, but don't forget to place a x-pired mark on the expired flares with a permanent marker. The expired flares must be marked so they a readily identified by anyone on board.

  2. Black eye and a couple of cuts? He should feel lucky.

I am the youngest of six....with 2 older brothers. Here's my list of injuries and scars that were the result of my brothers' actions:

-6 stitches above my right eye....my oldest brother took my roller skate and smacked me upside the head with it.

-2 puncture wounds from darts thrown at me by my brothers...one in the leg, one in the forehead.

-Puncture wound in the right foot from where my next-to-oldest brother shot me with an arrow. One of those deals where he pointed the arrow at my feet and yelled "dance".

-Major road rash from when I flew over the handlebars of my bike after my oldest brother threw a broom into the front wheel. He saw that on TV once, and just had to see if it really worked.

-2nd degree burn on the back of my neck after my oldest brother dropped a smoke bomb down the back of my shirt. I was lucky I didn't keep my shirt-tail tucked in.

-Broken big toe on my right foot where the oldest(again)dropped a bowling ball on it. Again, something he saw on TV.

I have forgotten most of what they did....my sisters seem to always remind me of stuff every time I see them.

I don't mean to laugh, but the broom stick is very funny (now).

  3. I have a new desk top , it's a HP Pavilion 640 G hard drive and 7 G RAM with Vista SP1 and it has a 22" wide screen monitor that turns 90*

It runs Vista like it aint nutten , no problems so far . I think it has all the same stuff as the old one but just looks different .

All this and I run a Web site on DIAL-UP.

Of course I have a Net Book that I use at work with High Speed :]

Wow 7 G Ram can I borrow that machine for a few hours to play Call of Duty?

  5. Boat Trailers,

#1 The suspect has committed a crime by threatening, and harrassing you. I don't know why the Police would say there is nothing they can do. Bull ######, at the least a Police report should be filed.

    Do this:

1). Call your telephone carrier and ask for the annoyance phone bureau. When you speak with them tell them you are being harrassed and threatened. They will put a trace on your telephone line recording all incoming telephone numbers. Some States require the Police to make this request.

2). Then go to your Police Department and file a police report for harrassment. You will need to file this report so a Detective can subpoena the report from the telephone company. The Telephone company will not release the info to the victim. (normally) After you receive another harrassing phone call you should be able to contact the Detective to make notification to the phone company to get the results. The police should investigate the telephone number to identify the caller or atleast the location the call is made from. Good luck

  6. 1, 2 (conscious but bleeding), 3. The best first aid kit in the world won't help unless you know how to perform 1st aid/CPR. I'm no EMT but could give a situation like the one above my best shot...even with no first aid kit. A t-shirt or towel would work in a pinch. The second patient may be able to apply direct pressure himself while you treat #1 (open the airway and get him breathing).

Sorry you are both wrong, call 911 first then proceed administering first aid. No matter how much first aid training you have without help responding the victim(s) will not survive. It is very difficult to perform CPR alone for any long length of time. Good trick question though.
