  1. ACR has a service center locator on their site - http://www.acrelectronics.com/brcloc/nc.htm You can also order the replacement service on our site and ship it to us if those places listed on ACR's site are not convenient.
  2. Welcome to the site Mike. It really is great to have so many boats at your disposal in your position. I was hoping you guys would come by and pick me up this weekend to pull me away from my non-working Yamaha on my seacraft. I would have dived into your cooler head first
  3. Hi Walter, call Andy Jr at Shipyard Island Marina (shipyardisland.com) to order an extra Command Link Hub and cable, this will give you an open port for your Maretron MARE-003 cable to plug in to.
  4. Nice find, probably the same ones Blue Sea would sell. I bookmarked that page.
  5. What Garmin components do you have? What display, which weather module, etc.
  6. The new BOE store looks like a mini BW We bought their neon signs, their retail gondolas, storage shelves, glass case, etc. I actually helped put our local BW together when it opened in 1998, it was a part time job I had after college. Was really weird to be dismantling it to outfit my own store 11 years later!
  7. The audio and weather have 2 separate radio ID's. Both need to be activated with XM.
  8. Plug the ducer in before you run it to make sure it fits and works. This will save you a lot of time and aggravation in case a ducer got in that box for another unit or if its defective.
  9. The euro style terminal strips like Tom used from radio shack can be difficult because there is only the diameter of a screw inside the hole to actually hold onto the wire. Blue Sea used to sell some that had a flat plat inside making it next to impossible to get a bad connection but they no longer have them. I find myself using the one Tom used often enough, however, you might also consider a regular style terminal strip linked here with spade connectors for a more robust connection - http://bluesea.com/category/9/36/products/2408
  10. The free ditch bag is a manufacturer promo, so a free ditch bag is included with our ACR and McMurdo epirbs. We do carry all the seastar stuff too, just don't have it on the site. Lots of folks use us as sort of their boating parts concierge so we can get just about anything, just requires a phone call instead of ordering online.
  11. We just helped a guy in GA put together a similar package. His install went great. I think you'll love that setup.
  12. I got a storm during the buy one get one free deal too. I love it. Its been my best phone yet, and I am all about phones that do a lot.
  13. I already sent an email to Genesis, he should be here soon.
  14. I say get the GHP10 too. The new version has been totally "Garminized" so it is very easy to use.
  15. Congratulations! My boy is just 10 weeks old now and I already feel like time is flying by! I really can't wait until next summer when he'll be walking and can hang out on the boat. This summer he'll be like hauling a watermelon with me everywhere I go
  16. That would be an expensive upgrade just to get nicer charts. I don't think the ROI is worth it. Are you referring to the Power Pak 12? It will work off any battery.
  17. ...talk about electronics on here? I'm useless otherwise
  18. Hey Wiley, congrats from BOE! I was there at the start of your last site and hope to be a part of this one too! Who are the 59 brown nosers that registered before me
