  1. I know of a brand new 33 HydraSports with triple E-Tech 250's and loaded with all the goodies that went for $240,000.00 2 years ago that you can buy for $155,000.00. This is just one example.

    Isn't Genmar in Chapter 11?

Some of us on here are actually in the marine industry and don't appreciate your BS; I'd like to call you out on your 20-30 cents on the dollar claim. I doubt as a detailer you are a NMMA member and if you were to use that organization for any kind of information whatsoever you will be as grossly misinformed as they are. By the way, you are going to be real disappointed if you think you will double your money on that Sea Ray.

  2. Well, that's certainly a little calmer...although the response explains nothing as far as your earlier posts, and definitely doesn't gain you any favor should you choose to post about a particular problem you might have, or a question that you might need an answer to. There are many, MANY members here that have, combined, hundreds of years of experience in building boats, both at the builder level and at the custom/repair/refurbish level. They are an invaluable resource, and should be treated as such.

Wiley, hang on. I think I have this Yes1 figured out. He actually works for a competitor of Midnight Express with the intent of perpetuating this industry joke by creating a huge amount of ill will toward the company. Great PR ploy, huh?

  3. I know for a fact that this is a one of a kind boat and that NO ONE ELSE can do it at this time so why are there so many haters out there with nothing better to do than stand around with a camera and take pictures of things that have nothing to do with them and just want to mess up others names in a industry that already has enough people that back stab and lie to just make a sale. Plane and simple, the thing worked but had a few flaws that someone caught on camera, but nothing they can't fix I bet! It still belongs to Midnight at this time from what I hear, so where is the harm in breaking something in the R&D stage of the building process, what Midnight is the only boat company that has ever broken something while testing? I THINK NOT!!

Testing? That boat was at FLIBS 2008. It seems like a year of testing would be adequate.
