Welcome. I fish out of Little Egg Inlet and fish the surrounding ocean and back bays.

From what I read about Obama's Energy Plan they are moving toward 85% Ethanol as a goal in addition to to other alternatives to petroleum.
I think boater's better begin hounding our elected elite.

Nice ride! Is that the new style 237 or 216? How do you like it?
G. It's the 216. Starting 2nd season with it this week. I really like it. Gets up on plane quickly and rides nice. No qualms about fit and finish and it is a good fishing boat with enough amenities to make the gals happy.
Maverick did right by their new designs. The 23 footer just came out this year and looks really nice. Design is similar to mine.

I have had my boat (218 Sailfish) about five years. Cleaning up from the winter I noticed a hairline crack from each hinge of one of the fish boxes. The crack looks like a pencil mark on each area. Looking for feed back on cause or a way to fix if possible.
Actually, you aren't bad off at all if those are the only stress cracks you have in five years.
Not seeing them, they could be emanating from hinge srews if the holes weren't fared out before the screws were inserted. If the boxes are in the floor, just stepping on them over time will cause some flexing and cracking.
You could dremel them out some and repair with gelcoat paste but they may reappear if there is an underlying source of stress which is not resolved.
A few gelcoat manufacturers like Spectrum Colors can sell you gelcoat paste matched to your boat colors to make the repair. The color may be a little off because of fading over time but won't be bad.

Hopefully, this Thursday April 16, if the rain quits and doesn't leave a gale on its departure.
Water temp here in south jersey is about 46 degrees.
