5200 below the waterline. there are two types. fast cure is labeled as permanent. the regular 5200 can be removed. i think gfranz is talking about Antibond. ron

you should check that again. the gpsmap 421s is listed as a chartplotter that takes g-2 chips. maybe there is no chart chip in what you are looking at. it indicates it comes with just the worldwide basemap. check out the garmin site for more info. ron

i have a larger boat with dual 5212's. i shutoff one when drifting. why do you need all three on?

I heard they had a recall with a flywheel issue. Anybody know about the recall?

the new ones use the updated parts. my recall work on one of the engines was done before i took delivery. by now, i would guess that almost all of the ones with the problem have been updated.
