from a friend that HAD one...they are tippy...this is NOT a joke...he fell off his a couple times walking around, cleaning boat...over time they grow barnacles that get heavy and lowers height...he had his scraped every 6 mos...for temp use it's OK, like you said, plan for fixed lift in the future...offer less, it's a pain to move them and hard to sell them used...

but then he'd have to do a show about it and you'd never see it again....

I paid about $20/ft....march 08...for a 28ft walkaround with a 9'9" beam....haul, pressure clean,acid wash 2 coats trinidad.....

where can I find a plug in anymore ??? need them for shrimping...hard to find any xcept recargeable ?? pep boys sells a vector rechargeable for $10.......they last about 2 yrs, they are basically disposable....

yessir, I remember lusting for a Harnell, "custom" when I fished anglins pier, Ftl. 1961-1965 Finally started having customs built by Bill Boyd Ftl. 1971...on lamaglas and fenwick blanks, harnells were not avail then...?.........

lucky he wasn't in Ftl. in the 70's...at anglins pier, there was a "group" of pier fishermen who shall remain nameless, that would throw or cast, 3-4 oz. egg sinkers at boats when they got too close and cut lines that were out off the "T"...it was a law that boats had to stay 500ft away...many didn't..
