  1. I am looking for a chart card for my Furuno GP 1610CF. What are my options? Is there one chip that covers the chesapeake bay and blue water spots off the coast to the canyons? Thanks for any input. I dont currently have a card.
  2. Fellow Anglers, I have been a member of the Maryland Saltwater Sportfishermen's Association (MSSA) for years, and fish the tournaments regularly. It had always been dificult to make the meetings because there was not an MSSA chapter near my home or office. That is all about to change. I am working with Dave Smith to start the new DC Metro Chapter of the MSSA. Meetings will be held at 7:30pm on the first Wednesday of each month at the Bethesda Chevy Chase Regional Services Center at 4805 Edgemoor Lane in Bethesda, MD 20814, Room A. There is plenty of parking, and the location is across the street from the Bethesda station on the Red line. I hope to draw members from Northern VA, DC, Montgomery Co, and PG Co MD. Of course All Are Welcome! Speakers, events, door prizes and agenda’s are to be announced when finalized and a press release will follow soon. If any of you know someone who would make a great speaker at a meeting, or you would like to suggest a topic of interest please let me know. With the support of dedicated fishermen like you we can make the DC Metro Chapter of the MSSA a success. Tell a friend! I hope to see you all at the first meeting Wednesday July 1. Please email me with any questions or comments: DCMSSA@gmail.com Thanks, Jeremy Bendler
  3. I use kid's hair de-tangler spray from the drug store. Works well, and smells like apples .
  4. I am looking to build some rigs with Crimps. I would like to be able to crimp cable and big mono for shark rigs and 80 # test mono for drum rigs. Can anyone recomend a pair of crimping pliers that wont break, and wont break the bank? I know there are a lot out there. I am assuming I should get a pair with the side cutters built in. What else should I look for, or are they all pretty much the same? Thanks, Jeremy
  5. How much is a prop scan or prop checkup? I could use one (two really). Where do you take the props? To the dealer?
