    You Maybe able to use group 31 , also 4D may work lighter the the 8D (Not sure what amps you need I am useing the 4D on my Cummins 6BTA. you may try a post over at boat diesel .

    Most banks (all) want a survey on a boat thats more then a few years old . there may be a price point where they ask for one. But on a new boat I would think so

    Sounds like you live in a prison camp not a home , most folks keep there boats on a lift for the same reason mine is in a slip . We like the freedom to go when we want . I could not like in a place where I need a 6 foot fence and guard dogs , I work hard to live in a safe neighborhood no need for guard dogs freedom is priceless
