About Me
My name is Dave Gates. I hold a USCG 100 ton master captain's license, and on my off time enjoy fishing for any type of pelagics off southeast Florida. I am passionate about billfishing, and particularly enjoy pitching baits to blue marlin on teasers on the North Drop in St Thomas and eastern Bahamas.
Professionally, I am a consultant specializing in waterfront real estate, although I work with buyers and sellers for homes on dry lots as well. I'm intimately familiar with waterfront homes from Port St Lucie, FL. down south to Fort Lauderdale FL., and everywhere in between including Stuart, Jupiter, the Palm Beaches, Boca Raton, Lighthouse Point, and greater Fort Lauderdale. My past carreer as a yacht captain has given me great knowledge of all the waterfront aspects of southeast Florida. I love this area and could never imagine living anywhere else.
