  1. Sounds to me like your props are entirely wrong--see a prop expert or good marine mechanic That 350 mag is 300 hp and should turn closer to the 5200 rpm range if I remember right; or at least high 4000's Maybe on of the props has a spun hub? You shouldnt need a repower and Sea Ray is not in the habit of building underpowered boats.

Your local dealers should be able to help you.

  2. 1973 Crest 25 pontoon with a merc 50--what a rocket she was!! With two 6 gallon tanks we could cruise all day. Next was an Alvin Roof special, 1980 Galaxy 21 cuddy with a Volvo 140 I/O--all forward please until we get her on plane.

Nice to see MFG mentioned--good old Ohio boat!! Agree with Mike, making my brain hurt also.

  3. Had a similar issue about 4 years ago. The pool vacumn had gradually thinned the edges where it constantly ran. I got three companies to come around and give me different options to repair.

Ended up taking their consistent recommendation and emptying the pool to resurface with Marcite.

Thanks, am sort of in process with people looking at it right now. The cracks were caused by the clay soil falling away during the dry part of August and people using the diving board a little to enthusiastically. I believe they have now widened and deepened as much as they every will and it's time for a better fix than high grade caulk---just trying to figure what that fix is.

Anyone ever heard of a company called Sani-tred out of Indiana? So far they sound like they have the cure if all they present online and via phone can be verified.

  4. Need some input as to how to patch large 1" wide cracks in an older concrete, gunite, swimming pool. Have used butyl caulk like vulkem in the past, but only get a few years out of that patch. Any ideas any of you can share that have had similar experience? Any new materials you can recommend?
