  7. It will interface to my chartplotter. Apparently it will recieve only but that is a big bonus to at least have that and it should be easily readable on the 4212. I guess so new not many people have it yet.
  8. I have seen alot of talk about this new AIS vhf but has anyone heard good/bad talk about this unit from people that are currently using it. Seems like a very good price for an even better capability. Does everyone really think it is useful in their areas. I have a Garmin 4212 that I will be hooking it to. Thanks, Doug

  13. I'm not seeing anymore of the "deluxe autoinflate PFD's normally $210 for $59"? I see otheer models manual, but not the one Y'all are talking about. This is a great deal!

  15. I swung by our west marine here but they unfortunately aren't all boaters. They are salesman at our local shop. I didn't know Bobby did an aluminum project. I'll ask the question at CM! Thanks Welder
  16. I had a couple small leaks in my 14' Aluminum boat so decides to strip the inside and fix the rivets and seal it with Gluvit. I have been looking around for what primer and paint to use. I'm being told it needs to be a self etching primer. I have checked over on Iboats under the aluminum boat section and they suggest Zinc Chromate for the primer. I'm used that before on weapon systems and it works very well but i've only found it in spray cans. What do you guys suggest for primer and then paint for aluminum. I am going to put some sort of non-skid like rhino liner/grizzly grip inside the boat and primer repaint the outside also. What do y'all think? Thanks, Doug
  17. Woody Wax! I'm in! Saints 21, Colts 20 I forsee the future!
