  1. Here's our latest 'boat' acquisition... And my boys and I playing hole shot/trim games in the water in front of the house: (crummy telephoto)
  2. I'm just a soul whose intentions are good... Oh Lord, please don't let me be misunderstood... (Eric Burdon and the Animals)
  3. Polished? I am polished, dammit. Have you seen the top of my head? Brilliant. Reflects sunlight.
  4. I have the 300 HPDI on my 25 Contender, too. Steps out right briskly.
  5. Oh yeah. A Rolls Axle trailer, triple axles, and we keep it about a hundred yards from the boat in a marina with a travel lift and a boat ramp. I could get that boat hauled with a phone call. Hey, I am looking at some aluminum boats made in Texas. Tunnel hull style catamarans for flats.
  6. Thanks. I don't know if it's proper to mention blogs here, but we have pretty much kept up with the taking photos thing. There are about 200 posts full of photos on it.
  7. Like a dirty diaper. Actually, 2008 was a real mixed year. Moved into a house we built, caught a bunch of fish, got the full, unadulterated experience of two hurricanes and two tropical storms hitting us in a one week period during which we were stranded on a little island of our own by storm surge for four days, had our boat smashed, got a new bigger boat, and am seriously looking at building a bonefishing lodge. Other than that, kinda normal. How you doing?
  8. I am not sure of the rules on this...but from I have seen I think a member of the group being degrinated has carte blanche to use the derogatory term against himself with complete impunity.
  9. Yep, and we do still own it, I guess, if one were worried about titles and things like that. After the hurricanes smashed it up, a kind hearted soul gave us the Contender, and to keep the karma going we gave the panga to a local friend. He patched up the critical holes in the hull and attached a 200 hp Evinrude FICHT, and that sucker literally skips over the water now. It's several hundred pounds lighter with fifty more horses...
  10. All I have recently are photos we took playing with our new Hobie kayak with the Mirage Drives. Wrong kinda boat for this forum I suspect.
  11. Hey, thanks Trollnheel. Surprised you remembered me. How you been?
  12. Hi y'all. We are a couple of Americans living in the Turks and Caicos Islands for four years now, running a 25 foot Contender CC. We catch dolphin, YFT, wahoo, cerro mackerel, grouper, mutton snapper etc. You know, the usual.
