  1. maybe you should try pulling the spark plugs and see if they tell you which cylinder is running lean. If a cylinder is lean on fuel it is also lean on OIL (it's a Force so you probably pre-mix). Like the old saying goes "you can pay me now or you can pay me latter", half assing or not properly repairing a 2 stroke fuel system is usually the beginning of the end, it's not just fuel but also the oil your engine needs.

  2. The compression problem NEEDS to be addressed before running it anymore... you are just going to make a bad situation worse. Like the old commercial "you can pay me now or you can pay me latter" if you run it till the piston comes apart you will trash ALL the pistons and probably the block too, it's not blown YET... BUT you're workin' on it. If it was mine it would already be apart.

  3. Congrats on finding a good one, we have been looking for a month or two,we close the end of this month on our dream house. The good deals get taken pretty quick but the junk just lays out there. We got close to an acre inside the National Forest on a 60-80 acre lake, for a great price. We are paying for all the inspections and closing costs, but it's all good... just waitin' on the keys!

  4. Seacast is only really good for transoms that are wet from motor mount bolt holes. If the transom is wet (rotted) to the bottom Seacast does not address properly tying the stringers (may be rotted too) to the transom, so you may NOT address the structural integrity of the boat. If the stringers and the bottom of the transom are sound... go for it. My buddy has an older Robolo 2550 I think (25 cuddy) HEAVY as hell, but nice riding.
