  1. I am sure this will get multiple right answers but.............................

Is it best to pull the batteries and keep them in the house for the winter, leave them in the boat disconnected, in the garage on a trickle charger or what?

My boat yard will disconnect and leave in the boat then charge in the spring, is that good enough? One is a year old an dthe other two years old.

I used to remove the jet ski batteries and trickle charge all winter in the basement which is temp controlled but these are three much bigger bateries and a real pain in the arse to get in and out of the boat.

I remove the batteries from the boat. I don't like the idea of leaving them onboard for an extended time. Once a month I charge them for a couple of hours. Got 5 years out of the batteries' so this works for me. One time I let the marina store brand new batteries for the winter. Springtime came and the batteries wouldn't hold a charge.

  2. Haven't watched a baseball game in a while. Have the Yankees/Red Sox on. Couldn't miss CC Sabathia vs. Josh Beckett.

Anyone watching? It's OK to say you watch baseball here on ReelBoating!

    Pretty good game so far.

I watched the Mets hit into an unassisted triple play that ended the game today. Never seen that before.

  3. Ya, all four of mine were under the gum. One of which was impacted and threatening my Mandible nerve which is why they said it was urgent for me to get it done, But I don't remember a thing they poured some powder under my tongue put a mask over my face and that all I remember till I got home.

Also my parents never told me what I was in for. I thought I was going in for a single extraction. If they would have told me I was getting 4 taken out, I never would have done it. I smelled a rat when I had to go to a oral surgeon instead of my regular dentist. I fixed them though, I didn't go to school for 2 weeks :P

  4. When I was a kid I had all 4 taken out in one day. The worst part was they were were still under the gum. To this day I still remember the surgeon digging away at the gums then pulling out the teeth. I was eating warm soup for 2 weeks.

Yes, salt water rinse with warm water.

  5. As any one had good sucsess removing lettering (boat name) from the transom?

I have a good industrial heat gun. Is there a solution if any to spray on first?

    Thanks for for any input.

    Chip

I took mine off with a blow dryer and a plastic scraper. A heat gun might be too hot. To remove the adhesive, I used WD40. The glue came right off.
