  1. STRIPER is a great boat also. I'm allittle biased. And when that guy with the C.I.B. is ready, damn right I'll give him every discount I can. Best Wishes to you...... Mike
  2. Hey Tim, Some of us are from Crystal River, Florida. No, your not a redneck. Your truck's not up on concrete blocks. Mike Carrigan
  3. Not trying to invade anyone's space here, but we've built a few thousand "Walks" over the years. About forty one years or so. We're allittle good at it also. Mike Oh, PRO-LINE.... We try pretty good too.
  4. I'm not cheating. A manufacturer, but also an owner. My Flats, 115 E-Tec. Very few hours put on by me, lots of them put on by others that use it. GREAT PRODUCT! No axe to grind here, we use four brand names on our product. The question went specifically to an EVINRUDE, which is my current personal outboard. The product is an extremely good one with extremely good factory support. Mike Carrigan
  5. KING, With all due respect. The pictures of your very lovely lady out shine yours. She's far more lovely than the airplane. Mike
  6. Most recent name he had when he got expelled (for about the tenth time) was DUSTY CRITTER. That was on another site. I think he just got censored from a third site as well, just today or yesterday. The important thing to realize is not to answer him. He's not a "well" person. Best not to answer him at all. I already did without initially realizing who he was. When you choose to engage idiot, pretty soon your in the mud with the idiot. Never get into a p- - - ing contest with a skunk. The smell can rub off. Mike Carrigan
  7. We did not have a good show. I dont know of anyone who was all that happy in the catagory my product is in anyway. Look, anyone saying that my company did not sell a single boat is allittle off the mark. Best year we ever had in Miami was slightly over one hundred. Just once though. Strangly enough, I dont know the average. I could put it togeater easy enough, but a good guess is between sixty and seventy, as an average. This last show was I think fourteen and another dozen or so immediatly there after. NOT A GOOD SHOW AT ALL. But, to say a single boat was not sold is allittle out there. Those of us who participate in the show and are competitors with each other, share the results, honestly and openly. Been doing so for years. I only speak for PRO-LINE though. 8. Really sorry you feel that way. I've attended a few myself, since, I think, "65", if my memory is correct. Might have been "66", but then again, who's counting. It was a tough show this year. As a manufacturer with not a particularily large display, eight or nine displayed, it is sure expensive. All said and done, six figures spent for a five day event with rather poor sales. But that was the mood of the show. Maybe a sign of the times and hopefully wont happen again. Ok, thats life. It is our "Superbowl" though and hope you'll reconsider. When the time draws near, call me at (800) 344-1281, let me get you a couple pass's as our guest. Mike Carrigan PRO-LINE BOATS
  9. 4-1500 H.P. Cats hooked to surface drives. 2-450 Cats as lifting power. 50 MPH!
  10. KING, Go to: amh.gov Thats us, American Marine Holdings Government Division Click on to the SEACOASTER. Quite a beast! Mike Carrigan
  11. OUCH! Thats not ours is it? I would hope we never glassed a back plate in place? I've never seen us do that. We provide a chase wire on ours. Are you speaking about one of ours? If so, I need to apologize pretty quick. Also, if one of ours, duck the bullett, dump it on Bob and the engineering guys, blame it on them, "sales" as innocent as new driven snow. Any mistake that is made is always on Bob and his guys. Everybody knows that "sales"are much more on the ball than engineering. Is it our boat? No kidding, it just doe's not sound like something from us. Mike Carrigan
  12. Strange world we're living in. Believe me, I dont understand it. Irwin Jacobs did an interview with MARINE JOURNAL, that made my personal opinion of him go off the charts. Candid, right from the heart, honest. " Plant closings" My words, not his, but my own understanding of what he said: We're closing our plants also. That follows us, and alot, alot of others. Bob, it's April! Who in Gods name would consider closing plants in April? Oct., Nov., Dec., sure, April????? Well, our target is getting PRO-LINE people back in April, but in saying that, we, regretably, saw in the fall what we had to do, sadly, had to do it. Now, I think we're ok to start bringing people back in April. I pray for that anyway, it looks like it. Again, strange as it may seem, yes, DONZI is delivering some pretty heavy metal daily. Every day Craig is at the water with a DONZI customer doing final water check, etc. Please do not ask me to explain it, but, a five hundred thousand dollar boat, six hundred thousand, yeah, every day! Go figure, huh? Well, thank God for that customer and Craig, he's doing one hell of a job. Sweaty and dirty all day, every day. Every boat that goe's out has "his name" on it. The guy is good, really good. ######, I'm getting about ready to buy a fake ROLEX PRESIDENT, jump ship, and hang out down here for good. Mike Carrigan Yes, we anticipate bringing folks back to PRO-LINE in April. Not three hundred plus, but resuming.
  13. Your lips to Gods ear. I did the photo's and the captions. Well, actually, Karen did the photo's with my interferance, I did the captions. It's quite a juggling act, doing it right, but in doing so anticipating the later on stuff. An "aftermarket" T-Top, for example. How do you properly back plate a T-Top after the hull is already on the deck? Absolutely, yes, it can absolutely be done, of course, but to get to the backside, lots of holes drilled, lots of "pies", being installed, etc. Bow railings? Yes, they need to be backplated. Same question as to the T-Top, only worse. So, you wipe out a railing, ok we've all done that, well, now you have a situation where alot of area's underneath must be gotten to? Hard Tops, yep, same deal. It all gets even more complicated today because we're no longer dealing with wood. Wood is far more forgiving than foam cores. With a foam core (all our decks are foam cored), all must be backplated. So, here's what generally happens: I make the promise that we'll handle the problem, throw the whole enchalada at Bob and his guys, and walk away. It always works, I never have to look back. We have made a very strong effort re wiring and such. We've tried very hard to make everything as accesable as we can. It's not a perfect science, not a perfect world, we try, but I guess I have to admit, sometimes a six pack, and allittle cussing doe's go along with the project. Good views from you. Also appreciated with not a whole lot of disagreement also. Mike Carrigan
  14. Hey, Now that I'm at DONZI all the time I never see you. Miss your help on the other site. Got two Trolls that follow me everywhere, but thats ok, I'm getting some pretty good help. I'm not all that sure we're supposed to be saying a PRO-LINE is faster than our cousin though. Yeah, I've stuck my foot in that also, more than once, but now I'm surrounded with triple 300 H.P.'s all over the place, on some really pretty fiberglass, so, I'm allittle less likely to say it. Call sometime, ok? (800) 973-2628 ext 231 Mike Carrigan
