  1. I was searching for cool forum names and thought of ReelBoating.com but someone had purchased it already.
  2. puff, puff, pass, puff, puff, pass

  3. I smell gas fumes......and a lawsuit. Amazing they survived the blast based on that picture.
  4. Same issue I spoke to you about Wiley. If I go to "My Controls," then "Manage Your Attachments," I see "You have used 406.79K of 500K" Looks like a (user based) (total attachment size) quota.
  5. They provide more "up/down" cycles than any other deep cycle trolling batteries. The Trojan brand AGM is one of, if not the most most popular trolling battery among tournament bass anglers and they use their trolling motors a LOT. I guess it depends on how much you use your trolling motor to justify the cost of AGMs. I have a set of Bass Pro size 33 deep cycle trolling batteries that I bought 5 years ago. Last time out, they were okay, but I could tell they had lost some punch. They were only $70 each and have held up good, I do not use the trolling motor heavily for hours at time either and very seldom have I ran them all the way down. I charge them after every use with an onboard 20 amp Pro-Mariner. My trolling motor batteries are under the front casting deck. It is a bear just to check the water and it takes 12 beers just to get limber enough to try it!! Decisions, decisions......
  6. I can count 7 out of 10 drivers using phones while driving during lunch break. Got behind one person today that was "texting" and they were ALL OVER ROAD. Phone use should be limited to handsfree devices only IMHO.
  7. I will be watching this thread too. I have 4 batteries. 1>Dedicated starting battery for a Yamaha F200 1>Dedicated deep cycle battery for house circuit (can be combined with engine circuit via a switch) 2>Deep cycle batteries for the trolling motor My feeling is all four need to be replaced, but I have not checked them yet, it is on my spring check list. Checking the water in these batteries is a royal pain. They are installed in boxes, which I prefer, and are in hard to reach areas. Definitely want to go AGM and am leaning towards the DIE HARD from Sears, which is the only AGM I can purchase locally.
  8. Wiley thanks for the regional forum, I am sure these guys and gals will enjoy it. And thanks for heppin' out RI!!!!
  9. Did you expect anything less Wiley man?
  10. I would take the prop off and take it to a prop shop to have it checked, easy enough to do. Hopefully that is your issue and not the shaft.
  11. Could be a bent blade on the prop too. Is it stainless?
  12. Hal, I'm sure they will be here sooner or later, hopefully!!!! Email your friends folks!!!
  13. A good picture resizer is located here: Microsoft Power Toys Image Resizer This is a TRUE Windows Accessory Tool. To use it, simply right click over a picture file and you will see "Resize Pictures." Follow the directions in the dialog box from there. That is all there is to it. Easy to use and works great. It also compresses the pictures.
  14. Get a quote fomr Andy (SIM) parts@shipyardisland.com
  15. This site, ReelBoating.com, has been added the MAD Links page under the "Supports Links" section.
  16. Volunteer Registration is now open for MAD 4 to be held May 30th! Military Appreciation Day is a very special event on many levels. Many of these service men and women along with their families have never had the opportunity to be on a boat like this and will be happy just to go out for a fun day on the water with you. (Catching fish really helps though!) Hey....they need a day off to to relax too, and you can help them do that in a very memorable way! Below is the link that goes to the volunteer boat registration page: MAD Volunteer Page If you can't bring a boat, I urge you to help out any way you can by joining a committee, volunteering to help at the event, or just drop by the site and say hello on the forums every once in a while. We are looking for a few good men and women, so who among you will take the challenge? Our Military certainly steps up for you each and every day without fail, who can we count on to help us do the same? All the details on the Captain's meeting the night before and details on how the launch/load process will go are forthcoming. There is a big cookout planned after the boating is done, lots of good food music, and good people, and lot's of giveaways and prizes for our volunteers and our military guests. At the very least please do this when you have the opportunity: Stop and shake the hand of someone you see in uniform and thank them for their service to our Country, without them you would not even have that simple freedom to use! Don't forget about the raffle, you could win some awesome prizes and help MAD all at the same time. Full day charter with Stand -n- Down and passes aboard the Continental Shelf to name a few... C'mon boaters.....Let's Roll!
