  1. got the invite to fish with my buddys Capt jerry and Capt Wayne on thier boat The Fish Monger out of Brielle marine Basin........

along for the ride also was Lab, Pat, Don, Orlando and Al.....

ran right to Romer Shoal Bar in heavy fog and started to catch as the anchor came tight..... all bass on fresh clams.... Don and I both had fish 20+ lbs as we picked through shorts to box 7 keepers before the tide changed and it all shut down..... about a doz blues were kept for friends also.... from there we headed out to the Scotland Light grounds where some huge ling were add to the pot.....Orlando was the Latin Ling Killer for sure......

on the way in to port birds were seen working hard so we dropped jigs down and had mutiple bluefish hook ups where i even had 2 on 1 jig..... i got back down to the bottom and my a67 was slammed....i eventually boxed a 40" 28# fish..... with Wayne adding another bass before we had enough.....

Great day on the water and the Fish Monger Boys run an excellent trip...

  2. left the dock at 545am on the Skip a Dory charter boat with whiplash mike, sausage in law laura, pistol pete, babyface gunter... and.... the most intresting man in the world Jimmy da gigalo AKA Buff Bagwell.....

fishing was a slow pick, but in the end we destroyed them, mostly fish in the 7-22 # class... no biggins today (they have been catching 40's and 50's all last week) but tons of meat.... with only a few haddock mixed in.... fat sacks of tasty filets for everyone... all cod caught on fresh clam while on the hook only 16 miles from Boston harbor.... day was actually to nice in flat calm seas with little to no wind .... Laura held her own as usual with the boyz...

fun crew to fish with... but mike is tuff behind the wheel, hence the whiplash....

looks like a return trip is in the works for july when it will be a split bluefin/Haddock/cod trip.....

  3. With the Perko switch, I can select battery 1 or 2 to run on while the battery not selected receives a full charge. Can then select the other battery next day with charge then going to battery not selected which always leaves you with a fully charged battery assuming you batteries are in good condition. I have group 24 deep cycle batteries and am going on my 5th season with same.

Gotch ya..... thanx..... ALL GREAT REPLYS......
