  1. Couple years ago my boat was starting to look it's age(99 model).

Was watching Ship Shape TV and they were using Buff Magic so I bought a can and had a buddy compound my boat with that and then I applied two coats of Rejex

    and it looked great.

Now I just clean it real good couple times of year and put a coat of Rejex on it, couple weeks ago I actually cleaned well and put two coats of Rejex since I was

headed to the saltwater for a couple of week.

Still looks good but after washing when I got home looks as though it will need another coat of Rejex before long, that saltwater is brutal on everything

  2. Family and I are headed down to Panama City Beach this summer for a vacation.

I have been several times but never drug the boat down

Most of my saltwater fishing is for kings and nearshore reefs off coast of SC

    Couple of questions

1-how far of a run to decent bottom fishing for snapper

2-what about kings and such that I am normally used to

3-Looking to dock my boat at a marina for the week, which one would be best for a 21' boat and close to the inlet.

Other option may be to launch from St Andrews

  3. I will have to try one, I love the RP Vintage 90 & 92's and other day I was in our local cigar bar/shop and he told me he could not keep those in

your picture in stock. He promised to save me a couple .

Enjoyed a nice "Boss" Soprano last night with Bro in law.

Also have a couple of Cohiba blacks in the humi and had planned on smoking one today for Fathers day but never got around to it, hate to rush a good cigar

  4. First family boat was one my Dad bought back in the mid 70's and was a tri hull bowrider with a 85 Evinrude which we used for skiing then moved to inboards for that

My first boat was a 15 narrow fiberglass boat with a 25 Evinrude that had stick steering in the front as well as you could use the tiller from the rear. We lived on the lake and I used

    this boat for many years

  5. I must be missing something on insurance, my boat is just added on to my homeowners with Southern Farm Bureau and costs me about an extra $200 a year on my homeowners.

My tackle is covered under homeowners as well

Only draw back to mine is that I am limited to 50 miles or less offshore which is about 2-3 times as far as I ever go

  6. Capt from what I have read you were right about the weather.

Friend of mine that is an outdoor writer camed down for an article and fished 2 hard days and only 1 trout, said it was the

worse trip as far as results that he had ever had but needed pics of a trout and that was what they got.

Pretty sure you know him, Phillip Gentry

Is it looking any better this week, how are the sheepshead doing and when will they move inshore to the bridge pilings
