I have started floating a line behind the boat whenever we go swimming or in the water. It's purpose is for safety in case someone gets tired or everyone goes over and forgets to drop the ladder (like the goof movie with the sailboat). If you did something like that then you would remember to check the ladder because pulling in the line is the last thing I do before starting up.

That is friggin awesome.
It's almost like Gel Coat Repair for Dummies. Thanks for the link. I am going to patch a quater sized chip caused by sea wall repair barge going by my boat. One of their tie rods was stiking out as they were backing onto my neigbors sea wall to do some work. UGH.

Thanks for the input guys. I have a strainer for the AC but relocating it for both sounds like a great idea.

Two things. First, call Grady White and talk to customer service. They are very helpful and may be able to zero in on your issue. Second, check out or post your question on the great grady forum.

Damn bro why didn't you just call me? Just call the customs office at Port Everglades and tell them you want to sign up for the LBO. They will tell you when to come in (you can pick the time and day) then you go to that office on Eller Drive in the port.
Bring your passport and boat documents. Also bring anyone else you want to sign up because anyone you bring to the Bahamas that doesn't have their own LBO number will still have to check in face to face.
So it looks like we're on for June 4th huh?
Hey Chris, do you know if the in peson requirement applies to children. In otherwords do I have to drag my kids down to the Port (of Miami) when registering for LBO

Want to get done a couple of things on my boat, like new cushions, spray cover, and some more stuff, but I do not have a place that I would trust around Miami.
Any recommendation???
I had Banks sails do some work a couple of years ago and they did a nice job.
