  1. Sorry, got you confused with CaptC...a bodyshop owner. Delete please!

  2. I'll test the Autotether this weekend. Only one complaint right out of the box. The FOB needs a better belt fastner. My knife, cell phone, fishing pliers all have a loop (for my belt to pass through) instead of a clip. Belt clips never work, whatever it is WILL fall off and into the drink. I could put the FOB on my pfd with the velcro attachment strap but I would prefer it to be on my belt. Why not build the FOB with a built in belt loop??
  3. I saw a guy buy Merlot with his Chilean Sea Bass at Fresh Market the other day. Gasp! Naples is going downhill fast.
  4. Your screen has a smudge right where the lat/lon is.
  5. Do the videos this way: {YouTube] VIDEO ID [/YouTube} replace { } with [ and ]
  6. Hey bodyshop man, "Is my car done yet?"

    Capt. Ed Bossle

  7. So I get home tonight and see this colorful bird behind the house. Maybe a sign not to be a smart azzz. Anybody know what it is? My uneducated guess is possibly an Oriole. But what would a guy originally from Baltimore know???
  8. I like to pickup roadkill and place it in my backyard. Brings the turkey vultures in like crazy. Beautiful creatures.
  9. Fishing by myself on Saturday unless someone wants to join me.
  10. Leaving Wiggins Pass, Naples....at dawn. Short run 10 miles offshore. Anyone want to ride/fish along? PM or e-mail me.
  11. "Nor Tech apparently covered up their name on the side of the boat with masking tape." Yeah, that threw me off track. At first thought I figured it might be a Shamrock or even possibly a Steiger. ^^^ Photo linked from THaT site, wondering how long it may stay up?
  12. I took an online course since my insurance company could not figure out if a USCG Masters License might qualify for the safe boater discount. So I faxed in an internet certificate, bingo, discount in effect.
  13. Oooops. http://www.nbc-2.com/articles/readarticle....d=28697&z=3
  14. Sanding may or may not be required. Depends if you have deep scratches. IF so, 220 then 400, then 600 grit, then compound. Next polish with Novus Nov3 then Nov2. Use the proper plastic buffing wheel with the polish. Here's a link for the buffing wheels and Novus polishes. http://www.eplastics.com/Plastic?search=buffing+wheels http://www.eplastics.com/Plastic?search=polish http://www.eplastics.com/Plastic/Plastic_B...-Compound-BPPBC The automotive polishes work "ok" too. (orbital buffer and compound)
  15. I prefer the Star drag for kingfishing. I use both TLD-15's (lever drag), and Speedmasters (star drag) in my spread. The star drags provide a little more finesse if needed. It seems to me that I can adjust a star drag in a split second even while cranking. I like the star drags better for use on my downriggers too.
  16. I vote to replace the dye packs with M67 fragmentation grenades:
